Summer as in what to do

Turtles are on the brain...I saw another one today. He was crossing the road. Very very slowly. Anyway.

I already have a job lined up for this summer. It's a nice job...about $150 a week. Which isn't a fortune. But hey, HEY! I'm a poor college student, what else do I need? I'm going to be babysitting all day four days a week while my mondays will be spent earning absolutely nothing at an Advertising agency. Brownie/experience points, an internship deal, the works. But I already have an idea for next summer, when I'll have a year of college education stuffed in my belt. I am planning on working at a Summer Camp! I don't know which one. It's not that important...it's a whole year away. But I think it would be a bunch of fun! I almost wish I hadn't set up a summer job already...
I know several friends that counsel at camps over the summer and they always say it is a blast. I can't believe I'm making plans for next summer. Aren't I crazy? I'm a Lango! I'm not supposed to make plans!

Haha! Yes, I am also trying to get a job this summer. If I ever finish the school year. I'm only sixteen, maybe I shouldn't try... but we'll see.

A lot of people try and get a job as soon as they are old enough. It really depends on your priorities. Personally I would wait til later. Because once you start getting a constant flow of money...it is SO hard to go without a job. You spend more money than you think you would because you know you'll get paid in a few weeks and you end up missing out on a lot of fun activities because you have to work.
