In the middle of the night, our unnamed protagonist wakes to find Diana’s gun pointed at his head and he recognizes bloody murder in her eyes. While facing a scorned woman’s wrath, many of his past entanglements replay in his mind. Memories of women he has loved or refused to love surface like ghosts from the grave to haunt what could be his last moments. As he tries to reason with her for the sake of everything he has to live for, he realizes that there is so much that he deserves to pay for. Love, guns, sex and bullets can all be deadly in the wrong hands.

The author is an excellent writer, but the story didn't seem to me to lead anywhere. It was more like the random ramblings of a shallow, self-centered hedonist too wounded by life to find it in him to really love anyone anymore and the stories of the similarly broken and superficial women he uses and is used by.And that's about it. Though both the hero and some of the women he seduces sometimes wax poetic and the descriptions of the relationship dynamics are often quite vivid and insightful, there's really nothing more to the book than that.

Glass Goddesses Concrete Walls edition by Keith Williams Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This is the 3rd book that I've read by Reem and just like the other 2, I was pleased. I expect nothing but greatness from him. This book was sexy with a twist of tragedy. I especially liked that you never knew the main characters name and I'm guessing that's all because of the wall he placed Around himself. Though you got to know him intimately you will never k ow who he truly is. The twisted part about that is you develop these emotions for him much like his goddesses. I can't wait for his next book. Roxie approves )
I really enjoy Author Keith Williams style of reading. I can picture myself drawn into the story. I read this in 3 days and I must say he brought me back to what real Novels are based on real writing skills. Keep up the good work and I do look forward to your next Novel.
Keith I really enjoy the book in my opinion I portray the male character as an arrogance bastard but as I read on I seen a man who soul was hurting because every-time he think that he found his soul mate something happen to turn him off like crazy Diana & Tamara but the other women that enter his life all had issues or demon that they was battling. I don't want to give out too much but this book is a must read and Keith is a member of Book Groupie Book Club. Thank you for the read & keep up the good work.
Keith Williams has given us insight on why relationships don't work out. Through thought provoking words and unique analogies he tells us the how and why love is not always 50/50 when two are brought together.
A man goes through his rolodex of 'glass goddesses'that have to penetrate the 'concrete wall' that life has caused him to surround himself with, all while being held captive with a gun to head by another disgruntled goddess. Each goddess finds herself in shattered pieces as she throws herself against concrete.
As always I enjoyed this piece.

Glass Goddesses, Concrete Walls evoked a variety of emotions from me. At times I found the story difficult, enlightening, and unsettling.
Difficult I could easily identify with the various female esteem issues and at times it was quite painful to read .
Enlightening I got an up-close and personal view of the male psyche, warts and all.
Unsettling Can we truly understand others and their motivation to relate to us?
Keith Kareem Williams serves it up to you straight, no chaser. If you enjoy exploring the nature of male/ female entanglements, consider taking this fantastic voyage. I promise it is a trip you don't want to miss.
This book kept my interest well enough that I finished in a day and as half. I haven't read like that in months. I just had to see how this main character was going to wind up. The story flowed effortlessly while the main character recalled the many women in his life as he faced death in the form of one of those women. This was a very well written and well worded story. I will be recommending this book to my friends who read part 1 of War Angel with me so they can see the diversity of style. I look forward to reading more of Mr. Williams' work.
This book was almost like therapy. It opens all the wounds that love can put you through and shows you a point of view that might even mirror one of your own past relationships.
The main character finds himself in a life or death situation, with a deranged ex-lover. And you might say that his life actually flashes before his eyes as he remembers all the hearts he's broken along the way.
Many of these relationships were broken from the start, and doomed to failure regardless of whether it was only physical or not. Most of the young ladies are already damaged and falling in love with this guy is another heart break waiting to happen.
This was a great analytical piece on how and why love goes wrong. Very well written. I'll be looking for more from this author.
