I like this book. 3 stories, 120 pages. What's not to like about it. The author writes so you see yourself as the hero. Fpr - first person reader. Great storytelling. A couple to few typos aside, it's a cool 3 rides to go on. So overweight unlikely heroes do exist?! Who'd a thunk it? One story, Ten Kitana, an adaptation of Aerosmith's Janie's Got A Gun, is a powerfully taut tale. The Reverse Genie is an account of someone being kidnapped to do dirt for possible terrorists. And it kicks ass. Mystery and intrigue and doublecrosses. And The Dark Country explores the price of a secret hidden for far too long. If you're a strong reader, you can knock out a story in an afternoon. Takes me a bit longer. But a tremendous first effort by a new voice in the literary world.Product details
